Regional Landfill

The Regional Landfill began operations in January 1985. Approximately 2,000 tons of waste is received daily at the 833 acre site with 170 acres of permitted landfill area located at 1 Bob Foeller Drive in Suffolk.

Hours of Operation

  • Residential household waste accepted Monday - Sunday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Open holidays until 12:00 noon; with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. On those three holidays the regional landfill is closed.
