The Regional Landfill began operations in January 1985. Approximately 1,700 tons of waste is received daily at the 833 acre site with 151 acres of permitted landfill area located at 1 Bob Foeller
Drive in Suffolk.

Hours of Operation
- Residential household waste accepted:
Monday -
Friday, 7:00 a.m. -
4:00 p.m.
Saturday,
7:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Sunday,
CLOSED
- Open holidays until 12:00 noon; with the exception of Thanksgiving,
Christmas and New Year's Day. On those three holidays the regional landfill
is closed.
