To dispose of a unit, you may call your city or county's Public Works Department for
a bulky item pickup.

Prior to the disposal of the unit, any unit that contains freon is required to have the freon properly removed by a certified refrigeration and air conditioning technician. SPSA provides Certification Stickers to technicians.
