SPSA Memorial Day Holiday Schedule

(Chesapeake, VA) -- In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA) will close its administrative offices on Monday, May 26 along with the Suffolk Transfer Station, Recycling Office and Virginia Beach Yard Waste Facility.

         In addition, there will be no curbside recycling collections on Monday, May 26 and on that day the Regional Landfill in Suffolk and the Chesapeake, Franklin, Isle of Wight, Landstown, Norfolk and Oceana transfer stations will be open only one-half day, from 7 a.m. to noon.

         SPSA’s Refuse-Derived Fuel Plant in Portsmouth will maintain a regular work schedule. All offices and facilities will return to their regular schedules on Tuesday, May, 27.
