Norfolk

The Norfolk Transfer Station receives solid waste from the city's municipal haulers, Norfolk residents and private waste haulers. Solid waste is screened for unauthorized waste by staff members. The waste is loaded onto SPSA transfer vehicles and delivered to the Refuse Derived Fuel Plant to be converted into fuel.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday - Friday, 800 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - No Residential Dumping
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. for commercial and Norfolk residents
  • Saturday noon - 4:00 p.m. for Norfolk residents only             
  • Sunday noon - 4:00 p.m. for Norfolk residents only               
  • HHW & E-Waste Disposal - Every Tuesday and Saturday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
